Reality!

Lets do a reality check. What we see in the outside world becomes a reality. It is as easy as that. lets imagine a rectangle in our minds, since no one else has seen it yet, according to the real world, its not real yet, but moment we give it some physical shape that could be perceived in the material world. it becomes super real - For example, if we take a pen and draw that rectangle on to a sheet of paper, it becomes real and valid. If we get more creative,, and carve out a rectangular shaped box - even bigger and better and more believable that it exists. Do we just need to keep creating all these things in the outside world so that it becomes real or just view all the outside world things and think that only those are real?

Often times, lots of people have even wondered if they are in touch with reality, sometimes even I do think that am not in a real world and exist in the world I created for myself, we will be surprised to find out that there are millions of world out there that people have created and the word "real" is in itself not real. Based on the total number of combinations of real world objects and the fanciful ideas that pops into people's heads everyday, there are significant number of reasons to believe that we all exist in the worlds that we create and this wonderful planet earth is abundant in its resources to provide us a platform to create this magical reality.

Imagine the wonderful structures that are built ever since. Its someones imagination that has been converted into reality based on series of other creations in the past. For example, buildings could not have been constructed without the invention of bricks and mortar  - Bricks and mortars could not have been conceived without appropriate chemical and industrial practices in places. All of these would culminate in the fact that people have been trying different experiments with the resources available in this planet to enjoy living in this planet and also to survive using whatever means they would want.

Now once these structures are built, it becomes part of our planet and the next person born, would have those elements included as part of the planet earth. Every moment, this world is changing rapidly at a rate we could not even imagine. people are creating systems, technologies, planting new seeds, running random experiments, finding new drugs and the "AS IS" status of this planet is constantly evolving and no one can ever do a reality check at any given time. Cos, the moment, someone begins this check, there are 6 billion people and 82 million other species constantly working to change the shape of this world (80% constructive and 20% destructive).

Although we may not be different in our biological constitution, we differ in multi-million ways from each other with infinite possibilities for Constructing this planet!

Think from different windows of life - Unleash your power of imagination and create beautiful realities for your family and friends to enjoy

Subconscious

What is the subconscious mind? How can it help us if we do not have control over it? It is believed that at a given point in time, due to the voluminous things that we do in life, starting from the number of people we know, places we have been, quantity of information that we have ingested over a period of time, our brain opens only a part of it each day and what we believe is our consciousness, is a series of neural chains that are active at a given point in time.Sometimes, our thoughts could become as narrow as we see in this picture, as a corner of a tunnel - This is the limited view of the world we could have, if we spring from this place. However, if we spring from the outside world, built a tunnel for ourselves, and end up in this spot, we would want to follow this way and keep going until we reach the Horizon, find Sunshine and see the world outside.

The chain is really huge, and each time we encounter something in our lives, there is a phase shift in our thought patterns and that leads us into new decision making and takes us to an all new world based on what choices we make. Slowly as and when these connections are formed deeply, it gets rested at the background and becomes the core part of what we might begin to call as the subconscious mind or the unconscious mind. This is not an alternative mind, or something that doesn't exist, but the same exact part of ourselves, that we created in the past but thats not in our immediate recall in the current moment unless struck by an incident or a larger than life event. So ultimately this drives the way we look at life and our happiness depends on it.

To run by some examples, when we have a sudden encounter with a person at a bar or a coffee shop, sometimes we feel that we have met these people somewhere or they resemble someone we might have met before, if we end up talking to them, without our control we tend to become more friendlier than we would, if it was a completely new stranger. This shows that our subconscious mind plays a major role in some of our decision making process and how we tend to lead our lives.

Thoughts travel exactly the same way we travel outside in the roads in different lanes. while we could go in roads with lots of traffic and get jammed or find another way out that could takes us back on the right direction. There is only one guide in this process and that is YOU.

Adjustment Bureau - (P)Review

The Adjustment Bureau, a special movie of its kind stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt in a romantic sci-fi- super natural entertainer that holds all of us to the edge of the seat to find out if God's plan is going to work magic for their relationship to succeed.

The movie starts showing Norris(Matt Damon) running his campaign for becoming the NY Senator. When practicing for his come back speech, he has a strange encounter with this beautiful girl Elise (Emily Blunt) and a deep sense of connection forms between the two of them. They feel special about each other and they get to meet yet again in a bus ride.

Thats when the Adjustment Bureau(the team responsible for adjusting and controlling people's lives) steps in and introduces how they operate and tells Norris that he is not believed to go on a path with Elise and threatens him that he will lose his entire personality and his memories would be erased if he tells about this team to anyone else and also that he cannot talk to her anymore.

With this challenge lying ahead of him and the Adjustment Bureau right behind him watching every move of his, the movie gets very interesting with a lot of wise and profound conversations and chase sequences making it a visual treat for the audience. What happens at the end is something everyone is asked to guess till the end. The question remains as to whether our destiny is controlled by the Chairman and everything is working according to a plan or this universe is a random combination of events dispersed in time.

Colors of life

I have always been excited by Colors. White color, once broken down, opens up an array of beautiful spectrum for the human eye to see and relish. Candles represents the true happy spirit of human life! The flame inside us is invisible but can only be seen in our most valued relationships and felt inside ourselves.  Different colors can be perceived as people with different characteristics and feelings. All of us share the same goal - to be happy and enjoy our lives while we are still alive!

Power of Clarity

Clarity in thinking is very critical to survive in this world, as much as we all have physical strength. Although we might think that we have covered it all, there are lots of gaps in our thought process that need to be filled in order to enjoy this world in the manner in which it is designed.

Lets take the example of Object Oriented Programming concepts to illustrate this. Every object has a state and a behavior. Take a tennis ball for example, it looks yellowish in color, with two crisscrossed lines that you could see grazing the beautiful fur that makes the texture so appealing to our eyes and for our hands to touch - Some of  its static properties include:

1. Its bright yellow in color
2. Its spherical in shape.
3. Its made of felt.(material obtained by pressing wooden fibres)

Its dynamic properties include its ability to bounce of any surface, fly in the air for a while following projectile motions to help assist the tennis player go through a joyous rhythmic feeling when playing the game.

Thus every real world object can be said to have a state and a behavior. The state defines what its made of and its behavior includes its functions. However, there is a very interesting piece to this. While the state cannot be modified unless acted upon by an external force, the behavior is merely a reaction between the object and the interaction with the real world objects.

In this case, the ball is bouncing on multiple forces acting on it .. The person holding the ball applying a force in a specific direction ,the gravity acting on it, the aerodynamics surrounding the ball, the set of objects thats going to be in its way, and it eventually stops, the moment its no longer at a higher plane than the earth and the forces inside is nullified.

To simplify all the equations of Relativity, we are just a medium through which outside forces are reacting with us and thus our lives are constantly dominated by people we meet, places we go, the house we live in, the kind of things we buy and the ease with which we allow ourselves to interact with other things and also the way in which we treat ourselves - Our mind (or the observer or the Pilot or the person in us or the central point in us) is the happiest when all the forces are neutralized the there is amazing speed, movement and joy that we all experience in life!!

If given a choice between moving a block of wood and sliding through an incline plane with absolutely no friction in it, we all would prefer the latter  - the natural way!!

Work et al

Do you consider your job to be a very special experience? If so, then you have researched enough and done a lot of homework and financially very stable and if not, you are one among 80% of the world's population, working to first Survive and meet your basic demands in life!! And often times we are troubled by this special beast called "Corporate politics" It has become very common these days and each one of us need to be thinking on strategies to combat this game and not get affected or belittled by stupid people around you trying to bring your image down and crisscross on your path by working against the nature of LIFE.

We are all bound by universal laws and same holds true at work as well. Firstly, a corporate is a legal entity and is bound by the laws governing the state or the country in which the company is located and/or its engaging in business with. So before even bringing our personal emotions into this whole picture, as a fist measure of safety, we need to be operating according to the law -and step aside from any activities that can get us in trouble. Take the case of some of the famous ENRON scandal or the Worldcom fiasco,  we all know that there have been several fradulent activities that led to a systematic collapse. Noone cared at the end of it, its a social disgrace of course for a day or two or for a year or two and everything will go on normally, if you are smart enough you will be hired by another firm or you could survive on your own. But if for some reason, you were responsible for stealing or double dealing with multibillion dollars which you owe to the Taxpayers or to your stockholders, your ass is certainly on fire and  you will be behind bars. At that time when the court gives a ruling, and identifies people who were in charge of crimes committed in the name of Trading, or tweaking balance sheets and statements of accounts - Everyone who consented to this action would be punished, irrespective of whether or not you were forced into such a situation.

Guilty/not guilty is a very thin line and sometimes even innocent people fall prey to it. Thats why we need to respect our peers and our bosses but do not always fear them, for if we play their wrong game, we would be in a trap and get into trouble.

Back to office politics. There could be several hundreds of ways of violating company policies and wrong transactions that could be committed. If its a multibillion dollar enterprise, then there will be a huge possibility of some fraud happening somewhere in the company since there would be multiple layers within the organization and the numbers would mean that things can become vulnerable. Hiring and Firing becomes the only way to eliminate the Bad Apples in the organization.

After a point. it becomes one's own individual responsibility and an universal trust that this whole world is operating. Whats very critical and important to always keep in mind 'the people's lives might be in danger, if we fail to deliver. For instance, someone whos designing a bridge, cannot afford to make even a smallest error when it comes to its load design it. Or if its an airplane, every single electronic chip, mechanical parts, the engine, the aerodynamics and all of it should be throughly tested before releasing it to the public since safety becomes the primary.  Even while testing, there are a few gifted souls ready to take such risky jobs and trust the workers who constructed the plane from scratch and take a test ride before it becomes commercial.

However when we break down these mission critical products into multiple parts and consider each supplier as a separate entity - For example, a tyre manufacturer of an Airplane. Have you ever thought of the fact that compared to the gigantic size of an airplane, the tyres are so small in nature that there cannot be room for any error in the material, design, finish, wear and tear and also the rubber used in the product. Also there has to be durability and extensibility for the product. Take another example. Like a simple software solution that is designed for a bank. Even if there is one minor flaw which results in a loss of several thousands of dollars lost, it would be huge problem for the bank and loss of money, time and other things for people affected by it.But at a 30,000 foot level, it would all be happening through out the world day in and day out. Mistakes are unavoidable, but its very critical to fix them and make things work in a better fashion.

Coming back to the Airplane, it is the best example of a machine which uses all possible fields that you can imagine to fit together a product. Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Civil, Physics, Electronics, Electricals, Computers and what not, all talking to each other to assemble and make the plane function in the safest manner possible in the best of the comforts one can imagine for such a machine travelling at god's speed!

Everyday work may be a pleasure activity only if everyone around you has a sense of responsibility to carry each task with complete care and attention and making sure that there is no room for error in the final product that is delivered. It is for this reason that most often people compete, fight, and create such tensions at work.
